Dr. Ken Robbins graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed residencies in both internal medicine and psychiatry. He is board certified in both.

He has been on the clinical faculty at the University of Wisconsin for over 35 years, teaching consultation psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, collaborative psychiatry, psychopharmacology and geriatric psychiatry, primarily. He has also been Medical Director for psychiatry at Tribal Health in Lake County, California.

In the past he has practiced forensic psychiatry, which included interviewing people responsible for many of the most publicized crimes in the Midwest and working to improve prison conditions for those incarcerated with serious mental illnesses. He had been the psychiatry consultant for Time Warner’s medical website, health.com, and the website caring.com, which had been a site for caregivers working primarily with dementia patients. He is currently serving as a consultant to Rippl.com, a behavioral health company dedicated to providing excellent care for people with dementia.
